Washing: Though many standard sheepskin products can be cleaned via a washing machine, we recommend that you either hand wash or dry clean your product. If you opt to clean a sheepskin product yourself, take care to use lukewarm water (38°C / 100°F) and a mild liquid detergent. (No Bleach!) If your product has been color-dyed sheepskin, you will need to dry clean it.

Drying: Allow your sheepskin product to air dry, away from direct sunlight. Do NOT use a dryer or any other form of artificial heat. NOTE: If you have a sheepskin pet rug, be sure to lay it flat to dry. You may also need to stretch your rug slightly while it’s still damp to assist it in returning to its original shape.

Grooming: Since a sheep’s mane is naturally curly, you may need to brush your sheepskin product to fluff and straighten the hairs. We recommend using a comb or wire brush. You’ll get the best results if you comb / brush while the fur is still damp and then again after it has dried.
Q. Do your non-sheepskin pet beds and furniture require special care?
A. Generally speaking, no. Most of our non-sheepskin products can be cleaned by hand spot washing or by running them through the washing machine on a delicate cycle. However, you should refer to the care instructions on the product for optimal upkeep.
