Q. What’s the best way to keep my designer sheepskin rug in pristine condition?
A. As with any luxury product, you do want to take good care of you sheepskin rugs. The best way to do that is to make sure that you’re using proper washing, drying, and grooming techniques:

Washing: Though one and two-pelt standard sheepskin rugs can be cleaned via a washing machine, we recommend that you hand wash your sheepskin rug or take it to a drycleaner skilled in sheepskin rug care. If you opt to clean the rug yourself, take care to use lukewarm water (38°C / 100°F) and a mild liquid detergent. (No Bleach!) Color-dyed sheepskin rugs, regardless of size, require dry cleaning.

Drying: If you are cleansing your own sheepskin rug, it’s best to lay your sheepskin rug flat and allow it to air dry, away from direct sunlight. Do NOT use a dryer or any other form of artificial heat. NOTE: You may also need to stretch your rug slightly while it’s still damp to assist it in returning to its original shape.

Grooming: Since a sheep’s mane is naturally curly, you may need to brush your sheepskin rug to fluff and straighten the hairs. We recommend using a comb or wire brush to groom the sheepskin rug. It’s best to groom the rug twice: once while still damp and a second time after the rug is dry.
Q. Why doesn’t my designer sheepskin rug look fluffy like the one in the picture?
A. Give it time. Our sheepskin rugs are firmly packed during the shipping process. As such, the hairs get flattened during shipping but they will rise again! The first thing you should do to give your sheepskin rug its fluff back is to shake it vigorously. That will help to loosen up the rug’s naturally curly hairs. After that, lay the rug flat and the fur will begin to fluff up in about a week.
Q. Do you provide worldwide shipping for the designer area rugs?
A. Currently, we ship throughout the continental United States as well as Alaska and Hawaii, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, and various nations in Europe. Q. Can I ship my designer area rugs to an address other than my own or as a gift to someone else?

A. Sorry but gift wrapping services are not available for our designer area rug collections.
